Carry out a research project for a client from the fintech industry, we are looking for specialists for the Data Scientist position.
Duties and responsibilities:
Data Scientists are invited to join a project focused on enhancing financial transaction data through ML-based solutions. They will be integral in developing end-to-end products, encompassing data pipelines, feature engineering, and model development.
The key objective for this project is to improve the data categorization and enrichment while building a new model using modern approaches, tools and platforms, utilizing advanced machine learning, NLP, and Google's Vertex AI. It provides a unique environment for innovation, experimentation and growth.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Data Scientist: minimum 3 years for the Mid position, minimum 6 years for the Senior position
- SQL and Python programming skills
- Experience in data manipulation and processing using Pandas
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Experience with PyTorch
- Knowledge of machine learning and statistics
- Experience in credit risk modeling and underwriting/decisions
- Strong communication skills to reason and connect findings to the business
- Experience in designing, conducting, and evaluating experiments focused on feature engineering for predictive analytics
- Excellent level of English
Nice to have:
- Experience with Sklearn, Vertex AI
- Experience in the fintech industry
